Description

NSE informs members that DSP Mutual Fund has introduced a Weekly Frequency option in Systematic Investment Plans (SIP) for all existing schemes (excluding ETFs), effective March 2, 2026, on the NSE MF Invest Platform.

Summary

NSE has notified all members that DSP Mutual Fund has introduced a ‘Weekly Frequency’ facility under Systematic Investment Plans (SIP) across all existing schemes of DSP Mutual Fund that offer SIP, except Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). This facility is effective from March 2, 2026, on the NSE MF Invest Platform.

Key Points

  • DSP Mutual Fund introduces Weekly SIP frequency for all SIP-eligible schemes excluding ETFs, effective March 2, 2026.
  • Under Weekly SIP, unit holders can invest a fixed amount on any business day within a week.
  • If a scheduled SIP installment falls on a non-business day, it will be processed on the immediately following business day.
  • Unit allotment is subject to realization of credit in the scheme.
  • If more than one SIP installment credit is realized on the same day, both installments will be processed for the applicable NAV as per the Scheme Information Document (SID).
  • The Trustee reserves the right to modify or withdraw the Weekly SIP facility at any time.
  • The SID of concerned schemes is amended accordingly under the sub-section ‘Part I. Highlights/Summary of the Scheme’.

Regulatory Changes

The Scheme Information Document (SID) and Key Information Memorandum (KIM) of all DSP Mutual Fund schemes offering SIP (excluding ETFs) are amended to include the Weekly SIP facility. The point ‘Special product/facility available during the NFO and on ongoing basis’ under Part I of the SID stands modified from March 2, 2026. All other SID provisions remain unchanged.

Compliance Requirements

  • NSE members dealing in the NMF TM segment should note the availability of the new Weekly SIP option on the NSE MF Invest Platform.
  • Unit holders are advised to update their PAN, KYC, email address, mobile number, and nominee details with the AMC.
  • Unit holders should link their PAN with their Aadhaar number.
  • Unit holders can check unclaimed redemptions, IDCW payments, or inactive folios on DSP Mutual Fund’s website.

Impact Assessment

This is a low-impact operational enhancement. Retail and institutional investors using DSP Mutual Fund schemes on the NSE MF Invest Platform gain an additional SIP frequency option (weekly), providing more flexibility in investment scheduling. There is no impact on exchange trading, market structure, or compliance obligations for NSE members beyond awareness of the new product feature. The change is limited to DSP Mutual Fund’s product offering and does not affect other fund houses or market participants.

Impact Justification

Routine product enhancement by DSP Mutual Fund adding a new SIP frequency option; does not affect exchange trading, listing rules, or compliance obligations for members beyond awareness.
